So it’s not worth it anymore!

All windows and doors are completely boarded-up, impossible to enter the building in any easy way… And after not even 5 min on site, a motion detection alarm went off (on the highway side of the building). Polizei arrived within minutes. So nothing much to see/do there anymore IMO 🙁

There must have been a period of squatters living there since these photos were taken because there’s graffiti everywhere now. Most notably, someone has painted a Grim Reaper ascending the main staircase.

As others mentioned previously, all windows as well as the doors in the first floor are closed. Meanwhile the second floor is free to go. You will need to climb a bit at the part of the building, where there are no workers, you can constantly see them there since construction of the neighbor building has begun. As i sad you need to climb a bit and squeeze your body through a hole in a glas door. You probably won’t fit. If you don’t i can almost guarantee you, that there is no other way in. (4moths ago). Also workers are on the sight. Ah well there might be some other way in. I haven’t been there because of workers but there might be some way.

You can still access the location through the open fence, but you can only visit the side buildings around the sanatorium. Please someone let me know when windows and doors are open again! I would love the see the sanatorium from the inside 🙂

I rang the doorbell but I had to call out for the old man as he didnt seem to hear the bell. I asked if I could come in, and he said no of course 🙂 But he was really nice about it. There’s a fence and barb wire around the whole place. Best spot might be in the back (facing the motorway). I didnt look because I didnt want to disrespect this nice old man. 🙂

There still seems to be an old man living there, but he didn‘t notice us.

Hey there is several ways in… I was insidd yesterday.. Don’t want to destroy the fun off exploring but there were at least two ways on each (the wider) sides of the building! Tip: one door and one window leading to the cellar)!
