Siemensbahn

The Siemensbahn was a railway line that operated between Dec. 18, 1929 to Sept. 18, 1980 through Siemensstadt, formerly the epicenter for Siemens’ industrial activity in Berlin.

It runs from Jungfernheide through the abandoned S-Bahn stations Wernerwerk and Siemensstadt to the end of the line at Gartenfeld.

It really is the end of the line, though there are plans to resuscitate it.

Photos below are from 2014 (the first gallery), then 2019, 2020 and 2021. Scroll down for the film!
